On the Record
Avenue | February 2016
Record producer Chris Blackwell is a man who has always acted on his instincts. And never has that impulse served him so well as the moment he handed over £4,000 in cash to three itinerant Rastafarian musicians and made history. Of course, everyone knows that the three Rastafarians were Bob Marley and the Wailers and that with Blackwell’s money the band would create Catch a Fire, an album of songs that brought reggae music to the world, sold millions of records and eventually helped Blackwell earn £200 million when he sold continue reading
Red Hot Chile
Evening Standard Magazine | 2008
Valparaiso, Chile is one of those cities that has defied nature’s wish to destroy it more than once. Its row of brightly colored buildings are arranged on a series of steep hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and are so precariously perched that it is easy to see how one large earthquake might make them slide like dominos into the sea, as many did in 1906 when a terrible earthquake killed 20,000 people continue reading
Where the Wild Things Are
Avenue on the Beach | June 2013
For our annual jewelry shoot at Avenue, we were lucky enough to work with some of the finest jewelry brands in the market today. Our challenge was to always find exciting new ways to showcase their magnificent stones and original craftsmanship. The photo shoot above was inspired by the classic children's story, Where the Wild Things Are, as I have always wanted to be Max, the little boy with his enormous jeweled crown, leader of the Wild Things. Set against a background of multi-colored plants and flowers, the pieces of jewelry popped for the viewer in a visual feast.

Norfolk is three hours away from London. On the eve of the United Kingdom’s referendum vote that had been causing Londoners intense anxiety, it seemed worlds away. The mood was happy, lifted by the excitement of getting to meet the royal patron of the charity, HRH The Duchess of Cambridge continue reading
Green Issue
Vanity Fair | May 2006 | by Daisy Prince
I was the lead researcher for Vanity Fair's Inaugural Green Issue, devoted to covering the environmental concerns that threaten the planet. I was also the co-writer on the Green Portfolio, a compendium of (relatively) easy ways to help save the planet.
